Jimmy Makiyama began his sushi Journey 21 years ago as an Apprentice Sushi Chef in the heart of the Japanese food capital, Kobe-Osaka. Master Sushi Chef Makiyama has been the mastermind behind several highly popular sushi restaurants still operating in Japan to this day.
In July 2014, Master Sushi Chef Makiyama opened the doors to the first of his traditional authentic Osaka Kaiten Sushi Restaurants right here at the Q1 in the heart the Gold Coast. From the striking décor to the outstanding service of the friendly staff, you will feel like you have walked into the restaurant at the Q1 to find you have arrived in Osaka Japan!!
